A snail is my symbol for compassion.
A snail is very soft, and needs protection.
So, it carries it's shell. In ease and safety, the snail
pokes her long eye-antenae forth and eases its long body from it's shell.
It is curious about the world.
When the world is busy, chaotic, dangerous,
Snail stays in her shell.
Similarly, all people have softness, and need protection.
We can bravely venture to explore, or we can stay tucked in our shell.
